Operating instructions:

• Double-click to zoom in; shift-double-click to zoom out.

• Drag to navigate north/south/east/west.

• Single-click on a marker to show the facility name, address, and hours. This appears in the upper-left corner.
  
• This map has multiple layers. You can type:
  
  p ... to map all the in-person early voting sites. Red marker means open from Oct. 7th onwards; blue marker means open from Oct. 26th onwards.

  c ... to map the sites that offer curbside ballot drop-off during the hours that they are open. Magenta marker means offered from Oct. 19th onwards; blue marker means offered from Oct. 26th onwards. Note that all sites offer inside (not curbside) drop-off during the hours that they are open.

  e ... to map the sites that offer emergency voting on Oct. 31st and Nov. 2nd. Don't use this service unless it is a genuine emergency.
  Switching back and forth between layers may be helpful.

Notes:

1. Feel free to share this map page however you like.
2. You can download the .kml files and play with them on your own computer, using google-earth (or fancier GIS tools if you've got 'em) ... but beware they are optimized for OpenLayers web GIS, not for google-earth. The files are:

   • ./early-vote-curb.kml
   • ./early-vote-emerg.kml
3. Also, I can provide the perl programs that do the data analysis, if anybody wants to modify or extend them.
